The Millennium Falcon is destroyed

The Millenium Falcon is the most iconic ship in Star Wars and I’m going to say it doesn’t make it through the final chapter. We’ve seen the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy play a key role in five episodic films and one spin-off. It seems to be an extremely lucky and indestructible vessel that has a knack for eluding the forces of evil and getting the best of the Empire/First Order.

The Falcon has already lost its pilot Han Solo in the first part of the Sequel Trilogy, though the ship seems to have been unofficially bequeathed to Rey.

Chewbacca is still around but if the good guys come out on top in this film a logical move for him would be to return to Kashyyk to be with his family. That would make The Millennium Falcon not have a crew or a real purpose.

Instead of seeing this ship end up in some New Republic museum, maybe it would be better to see it go down in a blaze of glory.

Maybe it’ll be in some sort of Admiral Holdo sacrifice with Lando Calrissian at the helm. Who knows, but with the saga coming to an end, this iconic’s ship time could be up as well.
