The First Order is back on Star Wars Resistance. Kaz and Tam run into each other as Kaz sneaks onto a First Order refueling station.

This week’s Star Wars Resistance sees a return of the First Order.

Kaz and Neeku sneak onto a First Order refueling station and run into Tam and General Hux. I’m excited about this episode because it’s the first time Tam and Kaz come face-to-face since she joined the First Order.

Since the moment when Tam seemed so sure the First Order was the answer, there have been holes in her resolve. While she turned in Kaz’s message to her, it seemed she only did it because Rucklin caught her.

In the episode where we met Torra’s mother, she got through to Tam in their brief moments together. Torra’s mother, who is a Resistance pilot, was captured by the First Order. Tam spoke to her while she was in the brig.

In those moments, it seemed Torra’s mother got through just a bit telling Tam not to give up on her friends and how Yeager looked at her like a daughter. While Tam is still with the First Order, you know it worked because Tam lied about their exchange when confronted about it.

Perhaps this will be the thing that finally puts her over the edge in realizing the First Order is not the answer and it goes against her core beliefs — at least that’s my hope.
