With Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hitting theaters, the animated series Star Wars Resistance still hasn’t caught up to the current timeline. The last check in we had was the aftermath of the Battle of Crait.

Season 2, Episode 12 finds the members of the Colossus tracking a distress signal. There they find a missing Resistance agent. What happens next? Well, that’s why we have to watch. There’s no way of knowing why the Resistance agent is in trouble or how they wound up where they did.
But good news! That’s one more person they can add to the Resistance since their numbers have been decimated.
In reality, the story of Star Wars Resistance is about Tam. After she joined the First Order, the most compelling part of the series has been following the now-TIE fighter pilot. She has shown cracks in her resolve, such as she did in last week’s episode.
Tam also still cares about her friends despite being angry at them for lying and keeping secrets. She’s also beginning to see that structure and order is not worth the cost of lives that the First Order is willing to take.
