Star Wars: 10 alien species that need their own hero story

1. Bothan

There is no race in the Star Wars universe that has had more of an impact on the movies without making an official appearance than the Bothans and their spies. Mon Mothma mentions Bothan spies and their bravery in the Battle for Endor, but that was just a toss-away.

It did, however, establish the Bothans as serious players in the Rebellion. It would only make sense that we were to meet an actual Bothan, then, right?

Nope. While the Bothans make plenty of appearances on page and video game screens, they never cut it into the movies. Meaning that there is a feline-esque spy race that has yet to be truly utilized by the Star Wars universe. And that is something I just can’t believe.
