1. Spice Runners (AKA Babu Frik and co.)

Problem: Oscar Isaac doesn’t want to do a Poe Dameron spin-off. Solution: Re-cast. Change the story lens. Make him a side character. I don’t care, but when it was revealed on Kijimi that Poe used to be a spice runner, and when we met his colorful cast of fellow runners, it immediately became a matter of “this needs to happen.”

No, this is not just my attempt to get more Babu Frik. (Yes it is.) (But not really.) No really though, if Babu Frik wasn’t meant to be around longer than just his brief appearances in The Rise Of Skywalker, then Disney is missing an opportunity, and they are the types to do that.

Plus, Keri Russell loved playing Zorri Bliss, and something tells me we’d all be okay with a spin-off focused on her and Babu, because (insert name) and Babu is destined for greatness. And even if Russell doesn’t want to do it, we barely saw her face, and it would be easy to reprise that role as someone else.

Just as long as Babu Frik is involved.

Everyone loves smugglers. Han Solo? Lando Calrissian? Who doesn’t want more badass lawbreakers in the galaxy far, far away? And seriously, have I mentioned Babu Frik?
