10. Boba Fett

Okay fine, so many people want it, so many people were looking for Boba Fett among the Mandalorians already featured, so for those people I included Fett on the list. Even if I am relatively indifferent about him making an appearance.

Obviously if he were to make an appearance here, it would have to be confirmed once and for all that he survived the sarlacc pit. That requires a lot of unpacking and a lot of backstory, and that would presumably take up a big chunk of the story getting to the bottom of. Which isn’t what the Mandalorian is about.

Sure, you could have Fett appear, or maybe just Slave 1, and leave it at that, but I’m sorry, that doesn’t do enough to explain how he was able to escape his fate. Not even close. Besides, we have so many cooler Mandalorians here. Let Fett rest. Let him die. He’s had his moment in the Skywalker saga, we don’t need to resurrect him here.

Of course, if he were to appear, maybe I would snap back into my childhood fanfare of the guy and love it all over again. No doubt they wouldn’t completely botch his use. So maybe I’m more on board with this than I thought.
