7. C3PO

C3PO and R2D2 are the only characters to make an appearance in every single Star Wars movie, and they never come across as distracting or boring or in any way detracting from the story. Honestly, it took until The Rise of Skywalker for C3PO to really shine as a character, and shine he did.

Safe to say that his presence is still fresh in our minds, and we’d love to see more of that C3PO.

While he’d be in service of the Rebellion, we’ve seen him and R2-D2 go on missions in the animated Rebels and so it stands to reason that he could cross paths, even if only briefly, with Din Djarin and baby Yoda.

Another benefit to an appearance from Goldenrod is the potential to open up fantastic dialogue between him, a droid, and Din Djarin, who has only recently overcome his unabashed hatred of droids. C3PO has proven himself an expert at comedic dialogue and even if it’s a passing thought, the potential is there for a great interaction.

It may not be the most exciting appearance, but there’s certainly something to it.
