5. IG-88

This one is a bit complicated, since there isn’t really a single IG-88. There’s IG-88 A, B, C, and D. But for the sake of simplicity, we’re just going to call him IG-88, since, like Bossk, he has a bit of a fandom just for the idea of his character. He’s a killer droid.

Now, it also gets a bit complicated because of IG-11 (a moment of silence, please). But that could also make things interesting. IG-11 tragically met his end, and it literally broke my heart, but in the process of dying, he broke through the distrust that Din Djarin harbored towards all of droid kind. If you want to throw in a serious mental knot, why not send IG-88 after Din Djarin and deal with the consequences of him having such a positive relationship with IG-11 and then having to overcome another hunter droid in IG-88.

Or, if you’re feeling really saucy, defeat IG-88 (E or F, I don’t care) and rewire him to be another IG-11. Of course, Kuiil took care of that, and he won’t be taking care of much more from here on out, so maybe that’s thrown out as well.

But regardless, the potential is there to do some fun things with the Din’s specific droid-related character arc. Even if it doesn’t factor into the story in a big way.
