A Return to Mandalore

Of the many planets it would be nice to see visited in The Mandalorian, this one is perhaps the most anticipated. Although Mandalore is known to have suffered a terrible fate as a result of the Imperial’s Great Purge, it would be nice to see what has happened since the Empire’s defeat following the Battle of  Endor. Does the Empire still occupy it? How many Mandalorian’s survived?  Let’s hope that the show’s creators find a way to weave a story or two featuring this planet into the series narrative.

Give The Child A Name

What’s wrong with calling him Baby Yoda, you say? Nothing really, but everyone needs a name right? What should we call the little fella though? If we follow the pattern of his species, it would probably be something with a “Y”.  Yippee, Yolo, Yoz (a reference to the voice of Yoda, Frank Oz)? Of course, they could pay homage to Yoda’s real “dad” and call him Kermi or Tad. Either way, a name this foundling needs.

Longer/More Episodes Please

I think if there is one thing us fans could all agree on is that The Mandalorian episodes should be longer, or at least more of them. It would be particularly nice to see more standalone episodes where we get to go more in-depth with the characters. While the episodes from season one are entertaining and have movie-quality visual effects, they tended to run pretty short in comparison to other shows, such as Game of Thrones.

But, then again, the series is reminiscent of the serials that inspired George Lucas to create his own sci-fi opus. So, is more better, or less?  Personally speaking, I’d say it should always be whatever helps maintain the best quality.
