Not Making Kylo Ren A Sith

This one is also strange. Ben Solo A.K.A. Kylo Ren is basically the Darth Vader of the Sequel Trilogy. He wears a black mask, has a voice changer, carries a red lightsaber, and worships Vader. So why wouldn’t he want to become a Sith Lord? It makes even less sense after it is revealed that the baddest Sith who ever lived, Darth Sidious, was the one controlling Ren’s master Snoke. Why he didn’t adopt a Sith name himself is bizarre. One would think Sidious would’ve first made Snoke his apprentice and then allowed Snoke to have an apprentice of his own, creating a couple of new Darths.

In Rise of Skywalker, it is also revealed that Sidious was all the voices Ben Solo heard in his head. Why that voice wouldn’t urge him to take on Sith teachings doesn’t make sense. Plus we never even really learn what it means to be a follower of Ren in the movies. Why is his moniker Kylo? What does that mean? We don’t have any clue. Making Ben Solo a Sith and giving him the title of Darth would’ve been a great way to keep the enemy of the Jedi consistent through all three trilogies.
