The date was revealed on a promotional video for the show as February 21. The video has since been taken down, but not before a number of sites saw the video, including CBR.com.
The season will feature 12 new episodes, which are sure to be emotional and taxing – but in such a good way – for fans of The Clone Wars. It looks to heavily feature Ahsoka and some of what happened to her after leaving the Jedi Order.
During Star Wars Celebration, we got a sneak peek into the upcoming season. Ahsoka and Anakin’s relationship is explored as the two departed as master and padawan. But Ahsoka’s passion and loyalty is on full display.
One of the most touching parts from the trailer is seeing the troopers with their helmets that honor Ahsoka. It’s a fitting a humbling tribute.
If you want to catch up on any missed episodes or just re-watch The Clone Wars for the sake of it, now’s the time. The previous six seasons are available on Disney+. This gives you about six weeks to watch all the episodes just as Season 7 hits on February 21.
