As the 2010s roll over into the 2020s, we take the time to reminisce at Star Wars in the decade past.

The 2010s have been a far more densely packed decade for Star Wars fans than we could have conceivably considered at the beginning of the decade. From the continued success of The Clone Wars, to the acquisition of Lucasfilm by Disney, to the first new Star Wars film in 10 years and beyond, the decade has given us an awful lot of new Star Wars to enjoy.

The next ten years is promising a whole lot more.

Rumours are swelling of a project set in the previously unexplored “High Republic” era, spanning video games, novels, as well as television and cinema. Before we get into the next age of Star Wars content, I thought it would be fun to head into the new decade backside first, staring wistfully into the past.

If you can think of anything I’ve missed (could I have discussed the cultural impact of Angry Birds Star Wars? Quite probably. Do I regret my decision to exclude it? No.); please feel free to point it out in the comments.

Additionally, let us know what your favourite moments of the 2010s were!
