The Mandalorian: 3 biggest surprises from “leaked” season 2 cast

3. Bounty Hunters
Following the reveal that there would be some Skywalker saga characters making appearances in The Mandalorian Season 2, speculation ran wild. I played part in that speculation, and one of the key groups I focused in on was the bounty hunters. Surely there would be more bounty hunters after Din Djarin and the wee one, and seeing as how we’ve seen the Empire call on certain services before, it makes sense that they would call on them again.
The two big names are Bossk and Dengar. Notice how there’s no Boba Fett? Maybe I chuckled heartily at that little omission. Maybe I didn’t.
I had speculated that we’d see some of these big name bounty hunters as well, so it’s not that outlandish to think that it could happen, but it’s the casting that gets a little weird. Bossk’s casting is weird enough, but it’s not as weird as…. Simon Pegg as Dengar?
I’m as big a fan as Pegg as the next guy, but his character type has just about never included a hulking, veteran warrior with no filter.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see these two appear in The Mandalorian Season 2. I would be surprised if this is who was cast.
