The Mandalorian: 3 biggest surprises from “leaked” season 2 cast

2. The Rebels
Given that this happens at the time of the New Republic, I hypothesized that one of the most likely Saga character appearances would be Mon Mothma. She was in charge of the New Republic following the success of the Rebellion, after all, and as such, any dealings with the galaxy would have to involve some sort of politicizing.
That’s where Mothma comes into things. This is one of the more believable additions to the list. But we also see some more recognizable faces. Namely nearly the entire cast of the animated Rebels. Hera is on the list, Sabine, and of course, Fulcrum herself, Ahsoka Tano.
Ahsoka Tano is one of the most clamored-for characters in the Star Wars galaxy, and while The Mandalorian did run plenty of fan services in Season 1, including every single character from the cast of Rebels seems a bit… much? Not that I would be opposed to it, and many have speculated that Sabine makes the most sense, given her own Mandalorian roots, but this would be a lot to cram into a series that is already headed on it’s own path. A path completely honed in on Din Djarin and his little guy.
It would take some serious cramming to get all these characters into one show.
