Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith was easily the best film in the Prequel Trilogy. If it weren’t for a few cringey moments, it could’ve been the best film in the entire Skywalker Saga.

The Star Wars Prequels were a mixed bag. They were arguably the most anticipated films in the history of cinema and were met with unrealistic expectations. They didn’t live up the lofty hopes of fans, but one of the films almost did.

Episode III: Revenge of the Sith is definitely the best film in the Prequel Trilogy. It has a great space battle in the beginning, some surprisingly emotional parts in the middle, and ends with two epic lightsaber duels.

As good as the film was, there were a handful of moments that kept it from being great. These moments were so jarring that they take viewers out of the film for a few minutes.

Even after multiple viewings these moments stick out and really bring the entire movie down as a whole. If it weren’t for these scenes that should’ve either been altered or left on the cutting room floor, Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith could’ve been arguably the best chapter of the entire nine-part saga. So here are the five moments that kept Revenge of the Sith from being the best movie in all of Star Wars.
