Star Wars: Here are the names of The Knights of Ren

The Knights of Ren have been touted as a group of Force-sensitive mercenaries. We finally learn more about them in the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Visual Dictionary, including their names.

We finally got to see The Knights of Ren in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in action. It certainly wasn’t enough, but it was something.

Though there is more content for The Knights of Ren outside of the movie. They have been featured prominently in The Rise of Kylo Ren comic miniseries and had a pretty sizable spread in The Rise of Skywalker visual dictionary.

And did you know they actually have names?

No, there names aren’t vibro blade or hockey mask face. They have actual names that make them individuals rather than this group of faceless Force-sensitive characters who follow Kylo’s every order. Considering their fate in Episode IX, perhaps it doesn’t matter, but their names and details about each of them was revealed in the Visual Dictionary.

Here are The Knights of Ren

Vicrul

Weapon: Scythe Blade

Notable attributes: Vicruls’s latent Force abilities give him heightened reflexes and the power to magnify fear in others.

Cardo

Weapon: Arm cannon

Notable attributes: Cardo is all about destruction. His canon is also a flamethower and he will destroy everything in his path.

Ushar

Weapon: War club with kinetic energy

Notable attributes: Ushar seems to respect good fighters and will give them a swift death for their courage.

Trudgen

Weapon: Vibrocleaver

Notable attributes: He collects trophies from his victims.

Kuruk

Weapon: Rifle

Notable attributes: Pilot of the Knights of Ren ship, Night Buzzard. He also a sharpshooter and can take out enemies from a distance.

Ap’Lek

Weapon: Mandalorian ax

Notable attributes: Ap’Lek prefers to use deception during his battle. His latent Force abilities allow him to look through any type of smoke screens or other obstacles.

While I’m sure The Knights of Ren have some interesting stories and we are learning one of the through The Rise of Kylo Ren comic, there are still moments we didn’t get to see through the sequel trilogy.
