Ahsoka Tano
Ahsoka Tano is easily the best character to come out of the animated Clone Wars TV show. She’s come along way since her poorly received debut in The Clone Wars movie. Her entire role was questioned from the start, as many didn’t believe Anakin would’ve had an apprentice during the Clone Wars.
The fact that his apprentice was never mentioned in any of the films only solidified that point. Then she comes out as an extremely immature and naive Padawan who annoyingly refers to her master as “Sky Guy”. Thankfully, the series itself fleshed this character out, making her not just the best one in The Clone Wars but one of the best and most loved in all of Star Wars.
Ahsoka Tano basically evolves into everything we wanted Anakin Skywalker to be. She’s a talented warrior, who is brave and has a strong sense of right or wrong. The most important thing about her is that she is extremely relatable and even shows many signs of vulnerability, which makes her easy to like and root for. She learns plenty about life and the Force as the series goes on and we watch the spunky, and slightly annoying Padawan grow into one of the best Jedi we’ve ever seen.
Ahsoka also has a positive effect on Anakin. He now has another life to be responsible for and it brings out a soft and fatherly side in him that the movies don’t get close to touching. Ahsoka’s presence erases many of Anakin’s annoying traits and in turn, makes him a much more likable character.
Ahsoka Tano went on to have a big part in the Star Wars Rebels tv show and as far as we know, though her voice was heard at the end of Rise of Skywalker, is still alive in the current Star Wars timeline. She was an excellent and unexpected character who was introduced to us in the Clone Wars, that fans are clamoring to see more of.
