Side Missions

While the main plot of the game was excellent, Jedi: Fallen Order did not have anything more to offer story wise beyond that.

Fallen Order did not have any additional side missions aside from going from planet to planet and finding all the hidden chests and collectibles.

Other open world games such as Red Dead Redemption 2 or Skyrim offer plenty of side missions and stories to follow outside of the game’s main plots, and if offers fans more variety in their gameplay, but also more to do after the main quest-line is over.

In Fallen Order, after Cal faces off against Darth Vader in the final mission, the player has two options to continue playing the game: Either start the game over again or wander around an already explored world in their current save.

Adding side missions and “B Plots” would give players more to do after the main questline ends so they can continue playing in their current save. Even after the final mission passed, I still wanted to keep playing, and would have loved to rejoin Saw Gerrera and the rebellion and fight against the empire, or fight alongside the Nightsister Merrin on Dathomir if I could.

Adding side missions in the sequel means that after I beat the game’s main story means I can keep playing or play the game in a different way on a second play through, and overall, just make my game play experience more enjoyable.
