Battle Arena Mode

Spoiler alert for the game, but if you have completed a play through, then you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.

Midway through the game, Cal and BD-1 get captured by a bounty hunter and are forced to face off against creatures from around the galaxy in a gladiatorial styled arena to entertain a cheering crowd until he is rescued by the crew of the Mantis.

In my opinion, this was one of the coolest features of the game, and I think it was a bit of a let down that the player is only able to access it once in a play through.

While I realize that going through the arena multiple times in a play through wouldn’t make a lot of sense in terms of story, I think having a battle arena mini game mode which a player can access into in the home screen would be a worthwhile addition.

I think the best way to implement is would be that the Battle Arena is accessible as a mini-game after the player reaches that point in the story, and what happens in it upon replays does not impact the player’s progression, but is simply a fun add-on.

Similar to my logic in having more side missions implemented in Fallen Order’s sequel, it would give players more to do after they beat the game’s main quest-line, but additionally, I think it was just a fun mode and I’d like to be able to freely dive back into it outside the limitations of the story.
