Fan on Reddit Shows the ‘Story of the Skywalker Lightsaber’ (VIDEO)
A fan on Reddit edited together a beautiful visualization of the Skywalker Lightsaber as it makes its way through all three Star Wars trilogies.
Originally owned by Anakin Skywalker, the Skywalker lightsaber is the name given to the blue saber that has made its way through many characters and situations since the Skywalker saga began.
Throughout the saga, the lightsaber has made its way into the hands of Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, Maz Kanata, Finn, and (briefly) Ben Solo.

Now that the saga is complete, we can have a little bit of fun watching the saber’s journey throughout all nine films. But if you need a bit of a time-saver, a Star Wars fan on Reddit has got you covered.
A user by the name of TheJusticeAvenger on the r/StarWars subreddit posted a video chronologically showing a quick highlight reel showing all of the major moments the Skywalker lightsaber has been a part of, from Anakin slaying the jedi younglings in Revenge of the Sith to Rey defeating Palpatine in The Rise of Skywalker, this video covers it all beautifully.
On the Reddit post, u/TheJusticeAvenger writes, “Got bored at home and made this instead of studying. My first try at editing a SW Tribute video of sorts – the Story of the Skywalker Lightsaber.”

Of course, this video only covered the lightsaber’s uses in the Star Wars cinematic universe. Canonically speaking, there are still plenty of epic scenes with the saber in The Clone Wars TV series and the 2015 Marvel Star Wars comic run.
