Rose Tico

Personally I am not on the Rose Tico hate train. She didn’t bother me one bit in The Last Jedi, but seemed to irritate a large portion of fans. She really isn’t that memorable though. She dresses in a drab tan jumpsuit and doesn’t do a whole lot of memorable things with the screen time she’s given.

But if Cassian Andor can get a series surely she can too. The show could start with her days working as a janitor and then go post Rise of Skywalker and see what role she ends up playing in the New Republic if one is formed to govern the galaxy. It’s unclear if she would take on a leadership role, as her skills seem best suited to be working on communications and things of that ilk. Still, she has proven to not be afraid to jump into action, and if another galactic war broke out, she would surely fight for what she believes in.

There could also be a romantic twist to a Rose series. It isn’t hinted at much in The Rise of Skywalker, but she seems to still care deeply for Finn but there is a new man who could win her heart. Her brief time in Episode IX was often shared with a new character, the dashing Beaumont Kin. Perhaps they begin working together and sparks fly in more ways than one.

Who knows, but a Rose Tico series would be on par with the excitement level a Cassian Andor series brings to the table.
