The Soon to Come…

The Clone Wars isn’t over yet. The season may have exhausted most of its trailer shots, but there a few left, and they’re pretty revealing to anyone who’s been paying attention.

Prediction: When Order 66 takes place

Yes, Maul has been captured, but we all know that isn’t the end of the story. One shot shows Ahsoka sensing a disturbance in the Force as they (presumably) head back to Coruscant with Maul captive.

So, here’s my prediction for what’ll happen next episode: the episode begins with hologram Mace Windu saying “I sense a plot to destroy the Jedi,” just like he did in the trailer and in Episode III.

Cut to Ahsoka, who’s on her way back to the Jedi Council. That’s when Order 66 kicks in, and the clones turn into brainwashed fanatics. Ahsoka is forced to defend herself (and save Rex, according to the Ahsoka novel that came out a few years ago) amidst all the chaos, and Maul takes advantage of this to escape.

The final episode will feature absolutely none of the content from the trailer, as we see Ahsoka’s reaction to the new Galactic Empire. She promptly goes on the run, and maybe there’s a neat transition to Rebels.

What are your thoughts? Am I completely off base, or do my predictions seem sound? Do you disagree with my assessment of Darth Maul? Make sure to let your voice be known by commenting below.
