Want to make your island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons look more like Star Wars? There are codes for that.
Animal Crossing is an incredibly popular game. With stay-at-home orders hitting around the country Animal Crossing: New Horizons came out at the perfect time.
Those with a Nintendo Switch – and those who could find them – dove into a game that is as much about patience as it as about fun. You dig, fish, and chat your way around the game to build up your secluded island.

You can make it anything you want from a quaint hideaway to a talk show. Yes, even Rogue One writer Gary Whitta has gotten into the fun showcasing his new studio in his basement and creating a new series ‘Animal Talking.’
Even if you don’t want to go that far, there are still ways to make the island your own. If you love Star Wars – and that’s why you’re here – a number of fans have created clothing styled after many favorites. You can get many outfits from the original trilogy to even Ben Swolo!
I managed to grab a Princess Leia outfit. It just happened to be on the same day as the new moon and boy did that look like the Death Star looming in the sky. One of the fun aspects about Animal Crossing is that the weather and moon phases coincide with what is going on in your hemisphere.
Now, if you want to dress your character in Star Wars clothing, one of the simplest ways to do that is by going to the Able Sisters store and hitting up the kiosk. You can find codes shared online and then enter the one you want and get that costume.
There are those much more creative than me that are turning their Animal Crossing islands into full out scenes from movies and TV shows, they’re making their own game shows. I’ll be taking it slowly, going for a new Star Wars outfit for my character.
