Taika Waititi will be the latest director to take on a new Star Wars film. He already has experienced in the universe having directed an episode of The Mandalorian.

Waititi has a knack for infusing his films with plenty of humor while also making them extremely entertaining and thought-provoking. He’ll be a great addition to the Star Wars universe and his movie should be highly anticipated.

At this point, we don’t have any idea what era this film will be taking place in. We don’t know if it is in an existing era that has been previously addressed or if it will be in a new era that will have all new characters.
