Poe Dameron

Poe Dameron is one of the wittier characters in the sequel trilogy. He’s chock full of machismo and is quick with a sharp retort whether it be to his friends or enemies. His personality would be a great fit with the also sharp-witted Waititi.

A Poe Dameron film could be extremely interesting. It could be set before the sequels and detail Poe’s life growing up with parents who served the New Republic. It could then delve into his time as a spice runner and Zorii Bliss’ gang, which will be a new book coming in August.

Waititi could have some fun putting Poe in crazy adventures involving not just the acquiring, but also the dealing and delivery of his spice shipments. This would also give fans more Babu Frik and there isn’t anyone on the planet who doesn’t want to see more of Babu.
