Star Wars side character No. 5 — Lobot

Lobot was the silent but deadly sidekick to Lando Calrissian in Cloud City. He’s the first true cyborg type of character we see in Star Wars as he has some sort of computerized headband implanted around his skull.

Lando can apparently communicate with him through his wrist band and he assists Lando in rescuing Leia, Chewie, Threepio, and Artoo from the clutches of the Empire. As far as looks go, Lobot is about as plain as plain can be. He dresses in a drab grey jumper with flesh-colored arm sleeves that billow like a curtain. He walks around with a stoic expression on his face and shows absolutely no emotion.

We really have no idea if Lobot is a droid or a human or a mixture of the two. He almost sticks out for being so bland looking, and it makes us wonder how such a charismatic man like Lando could find such friendship and trust with an extremely vanilla type of character like Lobot.
