Star Wars side character No. 7 — Unkar Plutt

Unkar Plutt is the main junk trader in Niima Outpost on Jakku. He trades parts that scavengers salvage for food and water portions. He’s also the closest thing Rey has to a parent, as he was apparently the one asked to look over her when she was brought to Jakku by her parents.

Plutt isn’t the prettiest character in all of Star Wars. He has a large proboscis of a nose, on almost a slug-like face. He speaks in a booming voice and has fat hands that look like they are swelled up from some sort of allergic reaction.

Plutt isn’t exactly a good guy, as his offer for parts apparently changes by his mood. He may or may not be taking advantage of the desperate junkers who live on Jakku, but at the same time is the only source of food many of these people have. He also had stolen The Millenium Falcon at some point, and clearly believes the ship belongs to him after Rey and Finn steal it.

With his “One-quarter portion” lines and grotesque features, Plutt is very memorable and easily makes this list of best side characters.
