The Star Wars saga is primarily the story of Anakin, it was odd he was left out of the sequel trilogy. Here are five moments his inclusion could’ve made sense.

The Star Wars sequels, while being an entertaining trilogy of films, had some glaring omissions. One of the biggest was the exclusion of basically any mention of Anakin Skywalker. The films don’t even name him at any point in the trilogy, instead choosing to focus on Darth Vader.

It’s a missed opportunity as Anakin was essentially what the first six films were about. We don’t even get any sense of what Luke or Leia’s acceptance was of his redemption and how they have grown to feel about the man, as they went about their lives.

There were plenty of chances for Anakin to appear in the films that would’ve made a lot of sense in the plot of that respective film, and to the overall broad story of the Skywalker Saga. Here are five moments where it would’ve made a lot of sense to have an Anakin Skywalker appearance in the sequel trilogy.
