Star Wars publishing panel set for San Diego Comic Con @ Home
Get news and more from the Star Wars publishing panel at San Diego Comic Con @ Home
Even though San Diego Comic Con will be happening on your computers, there are a number of panels to keep you interested in your favorite fandom. When it comes to Star Wars, there looks to be just one panel, which is focused on publishing.
Star Wars publishing is an important part of the franchise as there are new books and comics adding to the lore that come out several times a year.

The San Diego Comic Con panel will feature authors Timothy Zahn, Alex Segura, Justina Ireland, George Mann, Preeti Chhibber, Tom Angleberger, Rebecca Roanhorse, Greg Pak and Alyssa Wong.
The panel will be streamed through YouTube on Friday, July 24 at noon PT (3 p.m. ET), which you can watch here.
These authors have new projects they are currently working on in such as Zahn’s new Thrawn trilogy and Wong’s audiobook dedicated to Doctor Aphra. But there is also something even bigger on the horizon with The Old Republic project coming to shelves in early 2021.
Between now and then, there are other books still coming out this year including the Poe Dameron book Free Fall, The Clone Wars Anthology and more.
It may not be surprising that Star Wars won’t have such a large presence at San Diego Comic Con. Celebration was slated to occur just a month later with its own panels and news. With Celebration getting canceled, there hasn’t been any word yet if any of the planned panels will be held virtually.
Any news that may have broke at Celebration may still come at the same time, but just with all the hype happening from home.
