Star Wars comes to The Sims 4 with its very own expansion pack
Attention Simmers! The Sims 4 is getting a new expansion pack that will venture into a galaxy far, far, away.
Have you ever wanted to create your own Star Wars universe? Well, look no further than the newest Sims 4 expansion pack, Journey to Batuu. You’ll be greeted with all new decor, clothing, and of course, the addition of lightsabers and the best thing of all: droids. You’ll be able to create your own story. Just let your imagination run into the furthest reaches of a galaxy far far away.
As the gameplay trailer for The Sims 4: Journey to Batuu details, you’ll get to meet First Order Stormtroopers, Rey, Hondo Ohnaka, and Kylo Ren. You’ll also get to build your own little droid, build a lightsaber and duel with people. You’ll even get to side with three factions; the Resistance, the First Order, and the Scoundrels.
Now, if you’ve been a Star Wars fan for a while, you might be wondering why the name Batuu sounds familiar. It’s the name of the planet that was introduced in the novel, Thrawn: Alliances. It is also a central part of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, a theme park attraction developed by Disney.
The Sims 4 adapts the Black Spire Outpost from Galaxy’s Edge and Thrawn: Alliances and you’ll get a chance to make a difference between the factions. What’s exciting about the expansion pack is it adds to the Star Wars content that is already available with the base game.
Plus, The Sims 4’s base game also comes with a few Star Wars outfits in Create-a-Sim including Princess Leia’s iconic look from A New Hope, and looks for Darth Vader, Aayla Secura, and an X-Wing pilot.
