These Baby Yoda bags will have you channeling your inner Mandalorian

Danielle Nicole is partnering with Star Wars to bring us two new Baby Yoda-themed bags.
For some Star Wars fans, being stylish and having the best accessories is absolutely The Way. Take it from Mando himself, who knows a bit of nice, shiny Beskar armor goes a long way. For those of us who can’t get our hands on Mandalorian steel, there are other ways to be fashionable and show your love for The Mandalorian.
Out now, designer Danielle DiFerdinando of Danielle Nicole has partnered with Star Wars to create a new line of bags inspired by The Child himself — affectionately known as Baby Yoda. The capsule collection comes with two different designs. The first design is The Child Backpack, which allows you to take the little guy with you as a back-traveling companion. If you’re a fan of the original trilogy, you can even re-enact Luke Skywalker’s training on Dagobah — granted you’ll be using Baby Yoda, not the real Yoda. The bag goes for $78 and pre-orders have already begun.
The second design is The Child Crossbody bag. Here, you can channel your inner season 2 Mandalorian, who’s seen on the cover of Entertainment Weekly carrying The Child at his side like he’s delivering a sack of mail. But no, this is no mail you’re delivering; it’s The Child. And it’s up to you if you want to bring him back to his home planet… or take him with you wherever you go! This bag is $68 is also taking pre-orders. Each item is set to ship around Sept. 25.

Danielle DiFerdinando spoke to StarWars.com about her latest creation and what inspired her when designing the bags.
“The show is a bit darker and deeper than some other Disney shows, so I was especially drawn to the scenes that show The Child truly being a child, such as chasing and eating frogs,” she said in the interview. She also noted how much she loved the little frog that Baby Yoda so innocently gulped down, that it eventually became part of the design. On the crossbody bag, you’ll see there’s a little frog charm on the zipper.
In the interview, it also mentions that DiFerdinando is excited to use classic Star Wars characters in her designs at some point. Already, she’s got cool accessories from other Disney properties and different franchises like Harry Potter and Nintendo, so it’ll be fun to see what she comes up with next.
The bags are available for pre-order on the Danielle Nicole shop now. And look out for The Mandalorian season 2 to be out on Oct. 30 on Disney+.
