The Star Wars saga is notorious for introducing interesting characters but then doing little with them. Here is one wasted character from each film of the Star Wars saga.

Star Wars is great for so many reasons. First of all, it’s a multi-generational tale of good versus evil and what it takes to overcome it and defy the odds. It also is chock-full of humor, heart, romance, excitement, drama, and amazing special effects. All the films, love them or not, are a true spectacle to behold.

One thing Star Wars does amazingly well is to create extremely interesting characters. Whether these are characters who are alien in nature and boast an interesting look, to human characters who have their own reasons and beliefs that define how they act, Star Wars makes them all very relatable.

Sometimes though, we are introduced to an extremely interesting character but then get little else about them. Perhaps it’s a character with a mysterious look or aura about them but then their time is cut short. Another instance is when a character makes a brief appearance in one film and then does little in the next. Some characters do appear for the majority of the film they are in, but for whatever reason, don’t experience a full story arc, or give us a satisfying conclusion to their involvement in the overall arch of the Skywalker saga. Here is a list of one character from each film in the saga, that were wasted either in their amount of time on the screen or in their lack of a conclusive story.
