4. Baby Yoda will speak

One word that seems to encapsulate Baby Yoda or The Child, since his debut in the first episode of The Mandalorian, is surprising. This little green tyke seems to do something every episode that no one expects. Whether it is just existing, using the force, playing with a knob on a shifter, eating a lizard, or drinking out of a cup like it’s coffee, this little member of Yoda’s species is chock full of surprises.

Fully expect that trend to continue in season 2 of The Mandalorian. I’m sure we’ll see the little guy continue to develop and grow and pick up many mannerisms and learn many traits from not just Mando but even Greef Karga and Cara Dune. One thing we can also expect is to finally hear the little feller talk.

That would be the icing on the cake for the character that stole the hearts of Star Wars fans about a year ago. The question is how will he talk? Will he speak in the same backward style that Yoda made so famous? Or maybe that was just a Yoda thing and other members of his species talk like any other sentient being. I’m going to venture a guess and say we will find out toward the back end of season 2. Not only do I predict we will hear him talk, but I’ll also go as far as predicting what it is he’s going to say. Again this comes without any known spoilers, as that isn’t my style, but I’m going to say in about episode 7 of season 2, Baby Yoda will talk and he will say, “The way, this is.” Bank on it.
