With just days to go before season 2, a new trailer for The Mandalorian has been released.

Many Star Wars fans had been patiently waiting all night during Monday Night Football for one of the biggest reveals of the night, and it wouldn’t be the winner of the big game — a new trailer for The Mandalorian season 2 would be dropping. And indeed it did, as promised.

The new trailer clocks in at just about a minute, but it’s filled with new scenes that weren’t part of the original trailer. And those 60 seconds alone are enough to hold us over until the season premieres on Disney+ beginning Oct. 30.

In the trailer, we see some epic shots. Some of those feature the adorable Baby Yoda. Others include the returning cast of characters, including Cara Dune and Greef Karga. And, at the very end, we get to see some more Mando jetpack action as well. You can see the entire second trailer for yourself in the tweet below.

There’s been so much news regarding The Mandalorian ahead of season 2. Some of that included talk of either a Mandalorian movie or the Mandalorian himself appearing in other Star Wars movies in the future. With Taika Waititi’s Star Wars movie set to begin filming soon (and they’re already location scouting), the perfect opportunity is already coming up with the arrival of the 2023 movie.

But, for the most part, The Mandalorian certainly works great as a streaming series on Disney+. It’s an Emmy-winning series now, after all, which means the formula for season 1 certainly worked. We’re hoping with showrunner Jon Favreau’s expertise, the series will continue to stun in season 2, but we’ll just have to wait to find out.

And we’ll hopefully be finding out a lot about The Child and Mando in this series. It looks like Mando will need the help of other Mandalorians as he’s on his path to learning more about what Baby Yoda is. And hopefully, (hopefully) we’ll get some solid answers about what Yoda’s species really is and where they come from.
