Every year, LEGO retires many of its sets, and that includes beloved Star Wars sets. Here’s which LEGO Star Wars sets are getting cut this year.

LEGO and Star Wars are a perfect match! While we all love to see when LEGO releases new Star Wars sets, we also dread finding out which ones end up on the retirement list.

Star Wars and LEGO have teamed up to create many sets, ranging from sets about the sequel movies and even The Mandalorian. (Who can resist this Baby Yoda/The Child one?) But not all LEGO sets stay in circulation forever. While you can attempt to find them later on sites like eBay or elsewhere, there’s no guarantee that the price will be the same then as it is now. As we know, scarcity can really drive up the price of something special.

So, if you’re a huge LEGO Star Wars fan, you may want to snag these LEGO sets before they’re gone in 2020.

Which LEGO Star Wars sets are retiring?

If you have been eyeing a certain LEGO Star Wars set for a while or simply want to begin shopping early for the holidays, now may be the best time.

Take note because LEGO is retiring several Star Wars sets including:

75238 Action Battle Endor Assault

75263 Resistance Y-Wing Microfighter

75235 X-Wing Starfighter Trench Run

75242 Black Ace TIE Interceptor

75244 Tantive IV Building Kit

75250 Pasaana Speeder Chase

75258 Anakin’s Podracer – 20th Anniversary Edition

Some of these LEGO sets are still available on the LEGO website whereas others are on backorder and temporarily out of stock. The retired sets cover a wide range of Star Wars films and characters from as early as the prequels to as recent as the latest installments.

While it is sad to see some of these amazing and creative sets go into retirement it leaves room for new ideas for upcoming sets. Perhaps we will see some more LEGO sets from The Mandalorian and possibly new ones for Disney Park’s Galaxy’s Edge.
