Here are all the confirmed actors for the upcoming second season of The Mandalorian, new and returning, premiering on Oct. 30.

When The Mandalorian made its debut in November of 2019, it became one of the most popular Star Wars projects, and certainly brought in most of the interest on the then-new streaming service Disney+.

For the highly anticipated second season of the hit show premiering on Oct. 30, expect to see some familiar faces and some brand new additions on your screen. So, here is all the cast information to get you ready and excited for the upcoming new season.

Who will be in The Mandalorian season 2?

Confirmed Returning

From the promotional photos and trailers, we already know that the leading Mandalorian, Mando (a.k.a. Din Djarin) played by Pedro Pascal, will be back on his next adventure with everyone’s favorite, Baby Yoda (a.k.a. The Child). Also confirmed are helpful friends Greef Karga, played by Carl Weathers and Cara Dune, played by Gina Carano. Mysterious villain Moff Gideon, played by Emmy-nominated Giancarlo Esposito, is also set to return, wielding his Darksaber I’m sure.

Confirmed new faces

While some new characters are going to be featured on the second season of the show, they aren’t exactly new characters entirely to the Star Wars Universe. The popular Jedi from The Clone Wars, Ahsoka Tano, the Padawan to Anakin Skywalker, will be making her first live-action appearance, played by Rosario Dawson.

Boba Fett, the infamous bounty hunter, featured in both the original and prequel trilogy’s, is also said to make a comeback in the second season, played by Temuera Morrison, who was featured in Attack of the Clones. Nothing has been reported about how his character has been added into the storyline, just that he will be playing a small role.

Katee Sackhoff, known for voicing Bo-Katan Kryze in The Clone Wars, is also set to make her first live-action appearance as the same character. WWE star Sasha Banks is also reportedly a part of the season 2 cast, but no further information has been provided regarding who she may be portraying.

Michael Biehn, known for The Terminator and Aliens movies, is set to be playing a bounty hunter, although the storyline is still unknown. Another well-known actor, Timothy Olyphant, is joining the cast as Cobb Vanth, a character from the Star Wars: Aftermath novels, a former slave who somehow gets Boba Fett’s armor.

With all these new exciting characters and all the amazing returning ones, I’m sure the second season will be just as good, if not better than the first. I’m interested to see how they will fit the new characters to the storyline, and who will be a friend or a foe to the leading pair Mando and Baby Yoda. Plus, there’s an extra challenge bringing existing characters into a new show, but I have faith in Jon Favreau that he will find an excellent way to incorporate them.
