9. Acklay

The Acklay is the final beast from the colosseum scene in Attack of the Clones that makes the list. By appearance standards only, this is easily the most creepy of the three beasts the Geonosians unleash upon our heroes. The Acklay is a mix between a lizard, scorpion, and dragon. It has a huge menacing mouth filled with long sharp teeth. Its legs lead to lobster-like claws that is uses to stab its prey. The beast also appears to be about fifteen feet tall and is extremely scary with its loud screeches and creepy way of moving.

The beast makes a mistake when it tries to kill Obi-Wan. He’s arguably the greatest Jedi who ever lived and is able to use his quickness to elude the monsters’ attack and defeat it while being handcuffed. While the Acklay failed to destroy a Jedi, there’s no doubt that by looks alone, this is easily one of the creepiest creatures in all of Star Wars.

8. Zillo Beast

The Zillo Beast is the first creature from The Clone Wars animated series to make the list. This beast is one of the largest and most powerful in all of Star Wars, standing 97 meters tall. The beast is serpentine in appearance with a long, horn covered tail and powerful clawed arms and legs, with small horns on its head. It also features a hide that is indestructible and can stand on its hind legs Godzilla-style to enforce destruction as well as crawling on all fours.

The Zillo Beast is a truly horrific and terrifying creature that can only be destroyed by attacking the gaps in its hide. It is very quick for being so big and has eyes that glow green in the dark adding to its already impressive intimidation factor. The Zillo Beast is definitely creepy and well worth a spot in the top ten on this list.
