7. Sando Aqua Monster

The Phantom Menace brought Star Wars fans to a place they’ve never been before in the universe and that is underwater. After the Jedi run into the rascally Gungan Jar Jar Binks, he leads them to his hidden city.

This city is in a lake on the surface of Naboo and is much deeper than it appears on the surface. They meet Boss Nass and after he tells Jar Jar to get the hell out, he sends the trio away in a bongo transport. The three take this submarine speeder through the water and here encounter some very creepy sea-life. They lose power in their transport and when it comes back there is a horrifying fish staring at them in the face. With Obi-Wan’s quick piloting skills they are able to evade the fish for a while. Soon, out of nowhere, another fish appears and that is the Sando Aqua Monster.

This thing is a ginormous almost dinosaur looking like fish with a massive tail. The most horrifying thing about this sea monster is that it has large muscular arms. It uses those arms to grab the fish that was chasing the Jedi and Jar Jar and takes a bite out of it. This allows Qui-Gon to make his famous quip, of “There’s always a bigger fish.” While that is true, it’s also true that this is one creepy monster and one that should convince every Nubian to not take a dip in the lakes surrounding Theed City.

6. Rathtar

The Force Awakens got us reacquainted with Han Solo and Chewie and let us know what they’ve been up to since the years we last saw them in Return of the Jedi. We find out that the two have returned to the lives of smugglers and have left their freedom fighting behind. After they find The Falcon and Rey and Finn inside it, we soon learn that Han has been smuggling some very dangerous cargo. That cargo is creepy and scary Rathtar.

The Rathtar is a very disgusting looking creature. They almost look like they belong in the sea as they have octopus-like tentacles protruding from their spherical body. They also have a gaping mouth full of extremely sharp teeth and use those tentacles to pull their prey into that nightmare-inducing mouth.

One other terrifying thing about these creatures is their speed. They use their tentacles to move them across surfaces at an alarmingly quick rate. They are almost surely going to get their prey once the pursue begins. Han, Chewie, Rey, and Finn were lucky to escape these beasts once they got loose aboard The Eravana, as they definitely could’ve caused their demise.
