Who are some of the most notable Mandalorians in the Star Wars universe outside of the Mandalorian himself? Here are five of the most notable ones.

Thanks to the popularity of The Mandalorian, Din Djarin (played by Pedro Pascal) is currently the most popular Mandalorian. Despite his popularity, though, it’s important to remember that Din Djarin is only one of many important Mandalorians in the Star Wars universe.

Before meeting Din Djarin, many fans associated the concept of Mandalorians with the iconic bounty hunters Boba Fett and Jango Fett. While these characters did wear Mandalorian armor, they technically aren’t Mandalorians.

Before the first season of The Mandalorian, the animated shows Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels did the most in canon to flesh out Mandalorian culture. George Lucas and Dave Filoni were at the forefront of shaping much of the narrative around Mandalorian culture in The Clone Wars and Filoni continued this narrative into Star Wars Rebels.

Keeping in mind that Boba and Jango Fett aren’t true Mandalorians and most fans are already familiar with Din Djarin, this list takes a look at five of the other most notable Mandalorians that exist in a galaxy far, far away. Some of these Mandalorians bring honor to their creed and culture while others are well-known for more ignominious reasons.
