1. Tarre Vizsla

Tarre Vizsla was the first Mandalorian to ever be inducted into the Jedi Order. This is not what he’s best remembered for, though. Tarre Vizsla is best remembered as the Mandalorian who created the one-of-a-kind weapon called the Darksaber. The Darksaber was originally a symbol for the leader of House Vizsla.

After Tarre Vizsla’s death, the Jedi kept the Darksaber, until a group of Mandalorians took back the weapon for themselves. The Darksaber was not only a formidable weapon, but it also became a symbol of unity respected by all the Mandalorian clans.

In The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels, fans have seen the weapon wielded by Deathwatch leader Pre Vizsla, Maul, Sabine Wren, and Bo-Katan Kryze. In the final moments of The Mandalorian season 1 finale, the Darksaber made its live-action debut in the hands of Moff Gideon.

Fans need to know how the Darksaber fell out of Bo-Katan’s hands and into the hands of Moff Gideon. Once Din Djarin realizes that Gideon has the Darksaber, he may try to take the weapon for himself so will once again be in the possession of a Mandalorian and bring unity to their people.

Regardless of what happens, the symbolic weapon that serves as Tarre Vizsla’s legacy is set to play a major role in the future of The Mandalorian.
