Season 2 of The Mandalorian promises several more surprises and adventures in store for Mando and the Child. Here’s how to watch season 2 online.
The first season of The Mandalorian was highly anticipated by fans of the Star Wars franchise, and it didn’t disappoint. In fact, the early success the Disney+ streaming service was probably fueled by viewers interested in this show about a Mandalorian bounty hunter with a very space western feel.
The show aimed to surprise and create questions fans are desperate to know the answer to early on with the revelation of The Child, a 50-year-old alien being of the same species as Yoda, at the end of the first episode. Immediately, viewers were wondering how this creature was connected to Yoda since he looks so much like him and even has a connection to the Force. Not to mention the clear question of how this creature is a baby and yet 50 years old.
As the first season continued, Mando, as Din Djarin is primarily known in the series, developed a bond with The Child and became his protector, which drove the progression of the story throughout the rest of the season. He made both allies and enemies and came face to face with a deadly enemy who refuses to accept that the Galactic Empire is no more.
As season 2 begins, there are sure to be several more surprises, with Mando searching the galaxy for The Child’s homeworld and the live-action introduction of fan-favorite Ahsoka Tano from the animated series The Clone Wars. A search for other Mandalorians in the galaxy also creates the possibility of other fan favorites making an appearance, from Boba Fett to Sabine Wren. There’s even been rumors of Ezra Bridger making an appearance.
Whatever season 2 holds in store, fans are ready to see what adventures Mando and the Child go on next.
