Watch the hilarious trailer for the LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special coming to Disney+.

They say, if you can’t laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at? LEGO and Star Wars are certainly taking that to heart with the upcoming LEGO Star Wars Holiday SpecialThe trailer just arrived for the special today, which heads to Disney+ on Nov. 17, and it’s absolutely hilarious.

As we learned previously about the LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special, this will be about an adventure Rey has when she finds herself at an old temple and ends up traveling through time and space. Now, in the trailer, we can get a glimpse at exactly where she heads in her time travels. For example, we first see her land in the cockpit of Luke Skywalker’s ship as he’s about to blow up the Death Star (we hope her arrival doesn’t thwart his plans). Later, we see her come face-to-face with Darth Vader and even Emperor Palpatine (again).

The best part about this trailer is that it’s all farce, and we see some hilarious situations where Star Wars has the opportunity to officially make fun of itself. It’s almost like an episode of Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken. But many who are familiar with the LEGO Star Wars video games know that those games are already a parody of Star Wars in and of itself. In this trailer, we see silly moments like the Emperor making fun of shirtless Kylo Ren and Luke’s weird obsession with blue milk. We even get a surprise appearance by the Mandalorian and Baby Yoda, who absolutely steal the show.

It goes without saying, the entire trailer is worth watching for yourself, which you can see down below.

As it was previously mentioned, the crossover element of this special is huge. With so many characters meeting one another from different parts of the Star Wars timeline, it truly feels exactly like the way a child would play with their LEGO toys.

Of course, this was the intention all along. As a producer for the holiday special said in a recent interview, the whole point was to have a little fun and emulate the story the way a child would when they play with LEGOS. The only thing it’s missing is characters from other properties (that would really complete the “child playing with their toys” idea), but LEGO’s pretty much already done that with the LEGO movies.

On top of all that, this is a LEGO holiday special, so there’ll be plenty of lessons about happiness, kindness, and being with loved ones. And we also get to see Star Wars characters celebrate Life Day again, which only makes it more interesting!
