Disney Parks has shared its first-look photos of the hotel rooms at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

Disney World debuted the first photos of their Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge hotel rooms, and it does not disappoint! The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser experience at Walt Disney World is set to premiere sometime in 2021.

On Monday, Nov. 16 during IAAPA’s virtual conference, Disney Parks Chairman Josh D’Amaro spoke to the audience and gave fans a first look at mock-up images of the hotel rooms that guests will stay in.

A regular-sized room (or “cabin”) will include a queen bed with two bunk beds called “pods” that look like something straight out of the movies. Additionally, fans will be treated to a window where you can see into outer space. The room comes with all of the Disney amenities with Star Wars flair.

Unlike a typical hotel, this is a two-day experience for guests that will transport them into a galaxy far, far away. You can see the images in the tweet shared below.

D’Amaro also spoke about how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the park and construction on their numerous projects, including the hotel.

“In the world that we find ourselves in today, optimism, innovation, and courage, they will ultimately win the day,” he said. “With the emboldened spirit that comes from the challenges of the COVID crisis, with the hope and optimism that our brand captures even in the toughest of times, let’s ask ourselves why not take our guests to the moon or bring the moon to our guests? Why not dream as big as possible? And challenge the very meaning of the word impossible.”

Reservations for the hotel were originally set to launch earlier this year and have not. There is no word on when they will open up or if there is an opening date for the hotel. It is unclear if the pandemic played a part in the delay.
