Rey (Daisy Ridley) in STAR WARS: EPISODE IX /

9. Rey

Rey has probably never celebrated Life Day with a house full of friends and family. She grew up on Jakku, orphaned and alone, living hand-to-mouth, and scavenging to survive. Then with everything that happened between The Force Awakens and The Rise of Skywalker, there was never really a good time to slow down and enjoy her time with her newfound family. So, of course, we’re inviting her over!

When it comes to playing board games over the holidays, Rey and Poe will definitely get into a heated rivalry. It doesn’t help that Rey misread that invite and thought it was an ugly sweater contest, not a holiday sweater contest. Poe won’t let her live that one down any day soon. She’s wearing a ghastly white-furred wampa-inspired creation, after all.

Rey is all about the food. She piles her plate up high with different options and nibbles at them throughout dinner. She hasn’t tried a whole lot of food, given her upbringing, so it’s really no surprise that she would take the opportunity to see if turkey would taste good with cranberry sauce.

Rey has never really had the opportunity to watch many holodramas over the years, so she will be joining Rose and Bodhi as they watch a nice relaxing rom-com. After going up against the First Order, Rey really isn’t looking to dive into any films filled with conflict. She’s never even seen any of the classic holiday movies, so this might be the perfect opportunity to introduce her to It’s a Wonderful Life.
