7. Lando Calrissian

Oh, Lando. He shows up fashionably late to the party because he couldn’t decide which cape to wear for the occasion. He settles on one that lights up and plays music, of course. Unfortunately, you tasked him with bringing the pre-dinner chips and dip and he shows up right as the main dish is coming out of the oven. Oh well, at least you’ll have them after-dinner games.

He keeps the conversation moving throughout the night, amusing your family and friends with tales from his travels and exploits. With Han Solo not making the cut for our guest list, don’t be too surprised to hear Lando complaining about what Han has done to the Millennium Falcon. That’s not going to be something he lets go of any time soon.

Do you remember that room Din had dinner in? Lando’s going to commandeer it for his grand costume change in the middle of the party. He is not about to lose the sweater contest. He had one specially made from Bantha wool, that pairs nicely with a cape.

Lando definitely convinces everyone to play a rousing round of Sabacc and by the end of the night, he’s taught everyone how to cheat at the game. He also snuck in some bootleg liquor he picked up somewhere in the galaxy and he is willing to share it. He’s a smooth talker and exceedingly charming, so don’t be too surprised if you catch your single relatives trying to slip him their numbers at the end of the night.
