Check out the new concept art from The Mandalorian “Chapter 12: The Siege.”

This past Friday brought us another exciting episode of The Mandalorian, season 2 episode 4 — titled “Chapter 12: The Siege.” And as always, Star Wars has now released the beautiful concept art that we get to see in the credits of the episode.

And make no mistake, it was an exciting episode at that. The episode started as a simple detour, with Mando heading to Nevarro to visit old friends Greef Karga and Cara Dune. And what was meant to be a pit stop for repairing his ship turned into a high-stakes mission to take down an old Imperial base. (Or, more specifically, a lab.)

In the concept art, we get to see a bit of the Imperial lab that came to be, as well as a few other scenes from the show. Among the less-serious scenes featured in the concept art includes one with Baby Yoda eating the space macarons he stole in class. There was a subtle change made in the final cut, though, as you can see the cookies went from a beige color to being bright blue on screen. Plus, in the concept art for the classroom, it looks like they went from making it a high school/college-like setting to something a little more fit for Baby Yoda’s young age.

Another favorite is the stunning artwork that envisioned the new Nevarro. The streets are more alive than ever now that they’re no longer under the eye of the old Empire, and the concept art shows just how lively they are. You can check out some of the new concept art from “Chapter 12: The Siege” down below.

Up next, it should be a very exciting episode for The Mandalorian. Chapter 13 was directed by The Clone Wars’ Dave Filoni, and many are expecting this to be the episode where Ahsoka Tano finally makes her first live-action appearance. Played by Rosario Dawson, it should be interesting to see what she looks like on screen. And then, of course, we can’t wait for the end credits to see what the concept artists dreamt up for this fan-favorite animated character.
