The Mandalorian Chapter 13’s synopsis and title are out now.

The Mandalorian season 2 episode 5 means we are officially more than halfway through season 2 of the series now. It’s almost hard to believe it too. But alas, the series (just like season 1) will only be eight episodes.

Now, the official title and the synopsis for Chapter 13 are out, and it certainly has us pumped for what’s to come. Previously, in “Chapter 12: The Siege,” Mando and Baby Yoda made a stop at Nevarro to repair the Razor Crest. But unbeknownst to them, their side mission would lead them to blow up an old Empire lab that oddly looked like it was housing a cloning facility — and we discovered the Child’s blood had something to do with the experiments.

With Mando and Baby Yoda on the run, they set their course to find Ahsoka Tano to learn more about the Jedi and returning Baby Yoda to them. And it looks like the time has finally come to meet the live-action version of the character.

The Mandalorian season 2 episode 5 synopsis and title

The official title for The Mandalorian season 2 episode 5 is “Chapter 13: The Jedi.” Here’s the official synopsis from Disney+:

"The Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey through a dangerous galaxy."

Unfortunately, this may have been the vaguest synopsis yet for The Mandalorian. Well, of course they’re continuing their journey, you might be thinking. But at least, the episode title says a lot. And based on the rumors about this episode, this can finally be the one where Star Wars: The Clone Wars’ Ahsoka Tano appears.

Many people have cited that with episode 5 of season 2 being directed by Dave Filoni, it would only make sense that he’s the one who sees his long-animated character go from being cartoon to real life. Before the episode even released on Disney+, #AhsokaTano was trending on Twitter with fans super anxious for the character to appear in this episode.

One thing’s for sure, though: The Mandalorian needs to make progress in finding her because we know from the last episode that Moff Gideon is on his tail. After discovering Gideon lived after their encounter on Nevarro, it’s now more important than ever that Mando finds Ahsoka to get the information he’s seeking.
