Check out the official synopsis for The Mandalorian season 2 episode 6, Chapter 14.

Time is beginning to fly when it comes to The Mandalorian season 2. As of today, we are already on episode 6 of season 2. And, unfortunately, there are only 8 episodes in the season total, so we’re really getting down to the wire here.

Also, it looks like Disney and Star Wars have gotten smarter as the series goes on. They’ve done a better job at masking the synopses of the episodes after the first several synopses were leaked online well ahead of the episodes airing. And so now, we’ve had to wait for the episodes to officially drop before we could get the full synopsis. The titles, on the other hand, hadn’t really been leaked up until last week’s episode. But this week, that information stayed hidden.

Now that the episode is out, we can declare what the Chapter 14 synopsis and title are. We’ll keep this spoiler-free, sans the inclusion of the synopsis and title information.

The Mandalorian season 2 episode 6 synopsis and title

The official title for The Mandalorian season 2 episode 6 is “Chapter 14: The Tragedy.” And here’s The Mandalorian season 2 episode 6 synopsis, according to Disney+:

"The Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey through a dangerous galaxy."

Again, The Mandalorian is keeping it quite brief here with what it’s able to tell us with the synopsis. The title brings to mind the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise, but bringing up something like that in this series seems a bit far fetched. Still, with words like “danger” and “tragedy,” it doesn’t bring good things to mind.

With that, it’s possible that this might be another filler adventure. Remember, though, even “filler” episodes can give us a little information to move the plot forward. You usually just have to wait a little longer in the episode to get it.

The first episode of the season, for example, revealed at the very end that Boba Fett survived. (Or at least someone who looks like the Jango Fett clone.) And in the episode where Mando returned to Nevarro, he learned that the Child was being used by Dr. Pershing and the Empire in some sort of cloning experiment. While this episode is a bit on the shorter side (coming in at just 34 minutes), that means we probably won’t have to wait long to see those reveals. But still, The Mandalorian has produced some great episodes this season, and even the fillers have been on point.
