That’s right, the boys of the Bad Batch are back — following their excellent debut in season 7 of The Clone Wars.

The exciting new footage was shown during the Disney Investor Day 2020 presentation, and judging by that footage, we’re set to see not only more of the Clone Wars and its gruesome end, but the feared Empire Day itself.

Who else got chills seeing Palpatine’s Declaration of a New Order?

It’ll be really interesting and exciting to see what happens to The Bad Batch following the execution of Order 66 and the Fall of the Republic. What’s even more exciting is that long time fans of The Clone Wars television series will also be set to catch back up with Echo — the Arc Trooper once thought dead by Anakin and the rest of the 501st Legion.

…But one little thing kept secret, whose side are The Bad Batch fighting for? The Rebellion or the Galactic Empire?

It’s almost suggested that it’s the Empire; in that jaw-dropping moment of the trailer when Grand Moff Tarkin makes his entrance. Though, look closely. Hunter — the leader of the Batch Batch — almost looks like he could be a prisoner.

Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait to find out.

And we really, really can’t wait.
