Here’s the runtime for The Mandalorian season 2 episode 7, otherwise known as Chapter 15.

Being in the final stretch of The Mandalorian season 2 has brought us to this moment. Today, Friday, Dec. 11, the second-to-last episode of The Mandalorian dropped on Disney+. That’s season 2 episode 7 of the series, and signs are pointing to one explosive finale.

We won’t spoil episode 7 here, but we will share what’s been known so far. The Mandalorian has himself in a tough position. In episode 6, there was good news and bad news. The good news is that Boba Fett returned and offered to team up with him in order to protect The Child. The bad news is that The Child was kidnapped by the Empire at the end of the episode, and now Mando’s gonna need a miracle (or perhaps a Mayfeld) to help him pull it off.

When it comes to the runtime for these episodes, we’ve learned time and time again that no two episodes are alike. So episodes have ended up pushing into the one-hour territory, but none have met that mark so far. Other episodes have even gotten slightly above the 30-minute mark. Episode 6, for example, ended up being the shortest episode yet at just 34 minutes. So, just how does The Mandalorian Chapter 15 measure up when it comes to runtimes?

The Mandalorian season 2 episode 7 runtime

According to Disney+, the runtime for The Mandalorian Chapter 15 is 39 minutes. That’s the rounded up number. And officially, the runtime is 38:27.

As we know, that won’t be a full 39 minutes of action and adventure. We always have to count the episode recap and the credits. But for the most part, that time hits the sweetspot when it comes to episodes of The Mandalorian.

Of course, at this time, you may be wanting longer episodes, though. There are only eight total in this season, which means the season 2 finale will be dropping on Dec. 18. And for the short amount of episodes we get, it makes sense that any fan would want to maximize their short amount of time with the show. Because after that, we’ll have to wait about another year until season 3.
